Put your indoor plants in the spotlight with decorative flower pots. In this tutorial, we show you how to easily create absolute decorative highlights for your home using tiles and a little porcelain paint.

Design tiles with colours

Transfer the patterns of the template onto the tiles with a pencil. Paint the surfaces with the glass and porcelain crayons. To ensure that the colour stays on the tiles permanently, bake it at 160° C for 30 minutes as described in the instructions.

Extra tip: To make the glass and porcelain paint from the pens last particularly well, clean the tiles beforehand so that they are free of grease and dust.

Assembling a flower pot from tiles

Saw the square strip into 8 pieces about 10 cm long.

Glue the tiles together at the edges with hot glue and fix a strip in all four corners. This provides more stability. Finally, grout the edges with cream paste.

And you can give your plants a new and decorative home in the tile flower pot.
