To make this light decoration you need Terracotta-pots, Acrylic balls, a fairy lights, Wobbly eyes, Foam sheets and the motif template from the appendix. For drawing the motif template and as further aids, the following should be provided: a pencil, a black permanent marker, a pencil, a pencil and a pencil Marker, Scissors, pliers and hot glue
How do I make the light chain with Terracotta-pots? The Terracotta-pots are made with the VBS Outdoor-Color paint painted. While these dry well, the Foam sheets-wings can be prepared. For this purpose, the motif template is transferred to Foam sheets and the individual parts are cut out. Each pair of wings consists of two parts. Now glue the lights of the light chain into the painted pots. In a next step, the eyelets of the Acrylic ball pots are cut off with the help of the pliers and attached to the large opening of the Terracotta-pots, as shown in the picture.
Finally, paint the faces using the Permanent Marker, stick the Wobbly eyes on and attach the wings.
For the right firefly effect, take some chenille wire and make little feelers out of it!
