Tips to use:
Applicable to: Porcelain, marble, stoneware and ceramics. Not suitable for PE, PP, silicone resins and rubber, PTFE, polystyrene®, fabrics and leather.
Apply with: Directly from the dabber with pipette tip.
Preparations: The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
Application: UHU Special Second Adhesive is applied directly from the pipette to one of the two surfaces to be bonded. The other object to be glued is immediately positioned and pressed firmly into place. You should remove any adhesive residue from the pipette with a paper towel after use.
Time to dry: When the surfaces to be bonded are pressed together after the adhesive has been applied, the adhesive bond polymerizes within seconds (approx. 30 - 120 seconds) and forms a synthetic resin that bonds both surfaces very strongly. Depending on the material properties and the amount of adhesive applied, the bond is hand-tight within seconds or minutes. Final strength is achieved after approx. 12 hours.
Work to finish: Excess or smeared adhesive should be removed as quickly as possible by rubbing with acetone on a lint-free cloth (if suitable for material). Fresh adhesive stains on clothing can also be removed with acetone (test on an invisible area first).
Good to know: This adhesive requires moisture to cure, so the process can be accelerated by breathing on one of the parts to be bonded. Curing may take longer if the humidity is low.
